Mrs. Mary Hendrix Glenn, age 93, of College Grove, TN, died Sunday, July 2, 2017. Born in Rutherford Co., Mrs. Glenn was a daughter of the late Richard Adam Hendrix and Fannie Belle Holder Hendrix. She was a retired cafeteria manager with the Franklin City School District and was a member of Edwards Grove Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Jennings Glenn; a sister, Ella Hendrix and 2 brothers, Thomas and James Hendrix.
Survived by 2 daughters, Joan (Billy) Glenn Batte of Chapel Hill, TN and Dianne (Gary) Glenn Overcast of Beech Grove, TN; 2 sons, Larry (Bonnie) Glenn of Nashville,TN and Don (Donna) Glenn of Shelbyville,TN; 2 sisters, Irene Pipkin of Columbia,TN and Elizabeth Howell of Franklin, TN; 13 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 16 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4 PM – 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Thursday, July 6, 2017 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the College Grove Cemetery.
