Mary Elizabeth Draffen

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Guyer Draffen, age 62, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Monday, August 3, 2020 in Nashville, TN.  She was born in Milford, Delaware to the late Thomas Leonard and Helen Marth Guyer.  Mrs. Draffen was retired as an accountant and was a member of the Catholic Church.  She was very passionate about volunteering for the Special Olympics and dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren, who affectionately called her Mom Mom.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Guyer, and a grandchild, Raymond Nelson, III.

Mrs. Draffen is survived by loving husband of 9 years, William “Bill” Draffen, Jr. of Chapel Hill, TN; children, Melissa Greene Nelson of Murfreesboro, TN, David Watson Bradley of Franklin, TN, Andrew Vincent Bradley of Nolensville, TN, Cassie Emeline Gameson of Bowling Green, KY, and Sara Elizabeth Draffen of Bowling Green, KY; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Eileen Underwood of Florida, Margaret Coulter of Milford, DE, Bobbee Rose of Lewes, DE; brothers, Rick Guyer of Maine, Tommy Guyer of North Carolina, and Joseph Guyer of New York City, NY.

The family will have a private Memorial Service at a later time to celebrate her life.
