M. E. Cooper

Mrs. M. E. Cooper, age 89, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Tuesday evening, November 25, 2014 in Columbia, Tennessee. Mrs. Cooper was born in Marshall County and was a daughter of the late Harlin and Martha Elizabeth Poplin Crowell. She was a homemaker and retired textile worker. Mrs. Cooper attended Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and was a member of Pelham United Methodist Church in Pelham, Tennessee, where she formerly lived. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wayne Cooper, who died in 2007.

Mrs. Cooper is survived by a son, Mark Sartain of Columbia, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 30, 3014 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow in Clay Hill Cemetery near Chapel Hill.
