Michael De Andre Calhoun

Mr. Michael De Andre Calhoun, age 47, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away January 26, 2024 in Nashville, TN.   Michael was born in Newnan, GA, and was the son of the late Gloria Elizabeth Calhoun.  He was a Security Operations Analyst in Nashville, TN.  Michael proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps.   In addition to his mother, Gloria Elizabeth Calhoun, Michael was preceded in death by his grandmother, Corine Calhoun, and his uncles, Clarence Calhoun and Albert Calhoun.   

Michael held a 3^rd degree Black Belt in Karate.  He loved his cat, Indigo.  He was truly proud of his service and enjoyed his experiences in the military, serving in the Marine Corps.   

Mr. Calhoun is survived by his uncle, Mr. Ralph “Bud” Calhoun (Louvenia Webb) of Newnan, GA; aunt, Patricia Calhoun of Newnan, GA; cousins, Bonnie Calhoun of Smyrna, GA, Vanessa Calhoun of Atlanta, GA, and Sterling (Vernike) Calhoun of Olive Branch, MS.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1 PM until 2 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2024 in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Jamie Pratt officiating.
