Michael Grissom

Mr. Michael Erston Grissom, age 83, of Unionville, TN, died Thursday, November 12, 2015. He was a native of Bedford County, TN and a son of the late Lester Kerr and Carrie Crowell Grissom. He was a member of the Unionville Methodist Church. Mr. Grissom was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from truck driving. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Grissom Russell.
Mr. Grissom is survived by his wife of 53 years, Annie Ruth Grissom of Unionville, TN; his children, Terry Grissom (Nelson) Knight of Pleasant View, TN, Lisa Grissom (Michael) Terry of Murfreesboro, TN, Connie (Shawn Fulton) Brown of Shelbyville, TN, Peggy (Willie) Adams of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Toni (Dewayne) Raby of Shelbyville, TN; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 PM, Monday, November 16, 2015 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Brother Robert Wheeler officiating.
