Michael Perryman

Mr. Michael Perryman, age 46, of Unionville, TN, died on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, in Lewisburg, TN.

Mr. Perryman was born in Bedford County, Tennessee, to his parents Winfred Forrest Perryman and Lilly Katherine McCool Perryman. He was a member of the Forrest High School Class of 1992. Mr. Perryman worked in the Maintenance Department at Walker/Allison Transmission of Lewisburg, TN. He was also a faithful member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. Mr. Perryman was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Forrest Perryman, who died in 2014.

Mr. Perryman is survived by his wife, Sherry Smith, Unionville, TN; daughters, Kaylin Perryman, Gracie Perryman, and Gabby Smith, all of Unionville, TN; mother, Lilly Perryman, Chapel Hill, TN; sisters, Kathy (Rex) Bicknell, Chapel Hill, TN, Lisa Perryman, Shelbyville, TN; brother, Lonnie (Melissa) Perryman, Chapel Hill, TN; and his beloved companion, Mea.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 13, 2020, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 2:00PM in the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Unionville, TN.

Caleb Perryman, Billy Forrest Perryman, Jason Dunnivant, Jack Dunnivant, Josh Bicknell, Will Warner, Scotty Perryman, Jamie Perryman, Trey Perryman, and Chris Taylor will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael’s co-workers and fellow employees from Walker/Allison Transmission of Lewisburg. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and thanks to the employees of Walker/Allison Transmission for their support during this difficult time.
