Michael Riggs

Mr. Michael Aaron Riggs, age 37, of Murfreesboro, TN, died Thursday, December 27, 2018.  Born in Murfreesboro, Michael was a son of the late David Earl Riggs, Sr and Vicky Gayle Johns Shapcott who survives. He was a former supervisor with Americold Logistics in Murfreesboro . Michael is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Survived by his mother, Vicky Riggs (Butch) Shapcott of Milton, TN; 3 sisters, Amanda Riggs and Jessy Gayle Ross both of Murfreesboro, Katie (Chris) Smith;

3 brothers, David Earl Riggs, Jr, of Normandy, TN, Daniel Riggs of Christiana, TN, John (Ashlee) Shapcott; honorary brothers, Casey Hatfield, Shane Ross and Peyton Ross; step-grandmother, Sheila Johns of Murfreesboro.

Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2019 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. A graveside service will be conducted at Riggs Cemetery, north of Chapel Hill, on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 1pm.
