Mrs. Mildred May Glenn Lee Rowland, age 85, of Eagleville, Tennessee, died Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mrs. Rowland was born in Davidson County and was a daughter of the late Thomas Andrew and Polly Hartley Glenn. She was a homemaker and had retired after 30 years of service at the former Clover Bottom Developmental Center in Nashville. Mrs. Rowland attended Harpeth Community Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Tracy Lee, who died in 1976; her second husband, Eddie Rowland, who died in 2015; a daughter, Sarah Claudine Haynes and two brothers, Richard Ladd and “Tiny” Glenn.
Mrs. Rowland is survived by daughters, Patricia (James) Davis, Franklin, TN, Mary Lou (Stan) Trice, Cross Keys Community of Williamson County, Betty Jean (Billy) Petway, Franklin, TN; sons, Martin Tracy (Charlene) Lee, Unionville, TN, Robert (Carla) Lee, Eagleville, TN; sister, Mary Ann Kincaid, Chapel Hill, TN; brother, Robert “Bobby” (Betty Lou) Glenn, Nashville, TN; son-in-law, Gene Haynes, Lewisburg, TN; eighteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews
Family members will receive friends on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Lee Cemetery in Williamson County. Burial will immediately follow in Lee Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
