Nadene Morgan

Mrs. Nadene Cromer Morgan, age 88, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Tuesday evening, February 9, 2016 at her home in Chapel Hill. Mrs. Morgan was born in Marshall County and was a daughter of the late Joseph Henry “Jack” and Addie Lee Ring Cromer. She was a homemaker and retired after 30 years of service with Genesco Corporation of Chapel Hill. Mrs. Morgan was a long time and very active member of the Chapel Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Asahel Morgan, daughter, Kathy Jean Morgan, son, Rev. Wayne Morgan, grandson, Tommy Brown and by five brothers.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by two daughters, Elaine Brown, Chapel Hill, TN and Peggy Jo Hillard, Rockvale, TN; sister, Sarah Digrandi, Cathedral City, CA; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren.

Family members will receive friends on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2016 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Wiggins officiating. Burial will following in Cromer – Blackwell Cemetery near Chapel Hill.

Grandchildren and great grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
