Patricia Maxine Shelnutt Cook

Mrs. Patricia Maxine Shelnutt Cook, age 84, of Lebanon, TN, died Friday, July 14, 2023 following an extended illness. Born in Shelbyville, TN, Mrs. Cook was a daughter of the late Bruce Shelnutt and Ellen Carmine Vance Shelnutt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Thomas Jerry Cook and a brother, Edgar Shelnutt. Mrs. Cook was a Purchasing Assistant for 14 years with the Cracker Barrel headquarters in Lebanon, TN. She was an avid gardener and will be sorely missed.

Survived by 3 daughters; Kathy Davis of Murfreesboro, TN, Denise (Keith) Harris of Mt. Juliet, TN and Geri Forkum (Timothy) Pollard of Mt. Juliet, TN; a son, Mark Anderson (Marci) Cook of Shelbyville, TN; a sister, Brenda (Larry) Franks of Georgetown, TX; 6 grandchildren, Eric Harris, Andy Davis, Clifford Cook, Lara Davis, Clay Forkum and Thomas Forkum; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Renee Shelnutt. Also survived by her longtime companion, Les and faithful dog, Katie.

Visitation will be at 12PM, Tuesday, July 18, 2023  to be followed  at 1PM by the funeral service at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Cothran Cemetery  in Bedford Co.
