Patsy Jean Neal Cather

Mrs. Patsy Jean Neal Cather, age 66, of Chapel Hill, TN, died on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Nashville, TN.  She was born in Williamson County, TN and was the daughter of the late William Lawrence Neal and Dorothy Jean Layne Neal.  Mrs. Patsy was a member of the church of Christ.  She was the secretary and owner and operator of C & C Heating and Cooling in Franklin, TN for many years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas “Tommy” Cather, Sr., and her brother, William Larry Neal.

Mrs. Cather is survived by her son, William Thomas “Tom” (Leslie) Cather, Jr. of Bon Aqua, TN; 3 grandchildren, Jade Dodd, Celia Dodd, Elizabeth (Gavin) Ingram; 1 great grandson; brother-in-law, Dale Cather of Franklin, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be at 3 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.  Visitation with the family will be from 2 PM until 3 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the cemetery.  Interment will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.

Gavin Ingram, Jake Neal, Brandon Sweeney, William Adkins, Joe Johnson, and Stephen Brewer will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
