Paula Watkins

Mrs. Paula Armistead Watkins, age 71, of Unionville, TN, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in Franklin, TN. Born in Bedford Co., Mrs. Watkins was the daughter of the late Arville Wilson Legg and Alma Vaughn Legg. She was a seamstress and was retired from Farm Bureau as a data entry clerk. Mrs. Watkins was a member of Crowell’s Chapel Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Wayne Armistead, and a grandson, Joseph Paul Armistead.

Survived by a daughter, Laura Armistead Reyes of Unionville, TN; a son, Mark Alan (Brande) Armistead of Shelbyville, TN; a brother, Timothy Wayne Legg of Houston, TX; 6 grandchildren, Lavory Wayne (Kayla) White, Mina Evon Reyes, Thaddeus Accardo (Shannon) Reyes, Zachary Cole Armistead, Jaycob Alan Armistead and Michael Chase Armistead; 5 great- grandchildren, Christian Gage White, Sawyer Grant White, Derek Mateo Reyes, Ezra Cruz Reyes and Finley Alan Armistead.

Visitation will be from 11am – 2pm, Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The Funeral Service will be conducted at 2pm on Saturday, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Crowells Chapel Cemetery in Bedford Co.
