Phillip "Phil" Sheppard

Phillip “Phil” Sheppard, age 67, of Lewisburg, TN passed away June 29, 2024. Phil was loving father and grandfather, who touched so many hearts through his ministry as a preacher to the youth. Phil is survived by his loving family; former wife, Avis Sheppard, grandsons, Cason Fulton and Jackson Parker; nieces, Carol Hudson and Mary Whaley Tucker and many loving great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Annie Lee Perryman Sheppard; daughter, Christy Ann Sheppard and sister, Shirley (Glen) Whaley. Visitation with the Sheppard family will be held 4-8:00PM Tuesday, July 2, 2024 and funeral services 11:00AM Wednesday July 3, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Ronnie Hudson and Danny Wise officiating. Interment to follow at Hopper Cemetery. Keith Haley, David Perryman, Bill Mathis, Danny Reed, Taylor Sullivan and Sammy Sullivan to serve as pallbearers. John Baxter to serve as honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Phil Sheppard Memorial Fund.
