Raymond "Ray" Ring

Mr. Raymond “Ray” Lee Ring, age 86, of the Pottsville Community in Maury County, TN, died Monday, April 24, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. Ring was a native of Maury County, TN and a son of the late Harvey Brents  and Vannie Rebecca Sudberry Ring.  He was a lifelong farmer and retired from the Maury County Highway Department.  Mr. Ring was a member of the New Lasea Church of Christ.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Ring was preceded in death by his brothers, Horace and Dale Ring and his sister, Elizabeth “Bo” Ring Curtis.

Mr. Ring is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Farlow Ring of the Pottsville Community; sons, Ricky (Joanne) Ring of the Pottsville Community, David (Becky) Ring of Columbia, TN, and Billy (Lori) Ring of Mt. Pleasant, TN; brother, Harvey Ring of Antioch, TN; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be conducted at 10 AM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 with interment in the Ring Cemetery in the Pottsville Community of Maury County, TN.
