R. C. Edmonson

Mr. R. C. “Buck” Edmonson, age 88, a lifelong resident of the Flat Creek Community in Williamson County, TN, died Tuesday, September 24, 2019, in Franklin, TN.  Mr. Edmonson was born in Williamson County, TN, and was a son of the late Luther Blythe and Mattie Iona Eady Edmonson.  He was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Edwards Grove Church.  In addition to his parents, R. C. is preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Edmonson, Claudleen (James Robert) Vaughn and Elizabeth (Ralph) Whittenburg, nephew, Rick Vaughn, and niece, Rhonda Holton.

Mr. Edmonson is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mrs. Dorothy Edmonson of the Flat Creek Community; nephew, Mike (Kathy) Vaughn; niece, Faye (Philip) Brown; great niece, Becky Ruban; great nephews, Will Holton, Michael Vaughn, Cayce Vaughn, John Brown, Luke Vaughn, John Vaughn; 7 great great nieces; 3 great great nephews; numerous cousins.

Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, September 26, 2019, from 11 AM until 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 1 PM with Rev. Jim Wandling officiating.  Interment will follow in Eady Cemetery near Chapel Hill, TN.

Pallbearers will be Mike Vaughn, Philip Brown, Greg Holton, Will Holton, Tom Ruban, John Brown, Michael Vaughn, Cayce Vaughn, Luke Vaughn, John Vaughn, Phil Watson, and Clinton Edmonson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Brown, Ron Butler, Dave Douglas, Harvey Isom and Bobby Connell.

R.C. was blessed with good friends and neighbors and the Flat Creek Community for 88 years.  Dorothy and his family want to thank everyone for their love and support.
