Rev. Jack Douglas

Rev. Ellis  “Jack”  Douglas, age 72, of Unionville, TN, died Thursday, October 26, 2017. A native of Bedford Co., Mr. Douglas was a son of the late Walter Denton Douglas and Elizabeth Ann Bogle. He was a welder and also a preacher of the gospel for the last 17+ years having served as Pastor at several churches in the area. At the time of his passing, he was a member of Amazing Grace Church in Unionville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janice McCormick and a brother, Don “Weasel” Douglas.

Survivors are his wife, Juanita J. Douglas of Unionville; a daughter, Dana Ingram of Chapel Hill; a sister, Dyann Miller of Shelbyville; 2 brothers, Walter “Scutt” Douglas of Unionville and Terry Ray Douglas of Rockvale; 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Joseph Ingram.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Monday, October 30, 2017 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cothran Cemetery in Bedford Co.
