Bro. John Eatherly, age 77, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Saturday, October 14, 2017. He was the son of the late John Hershel Eatherly, II and Ada Frances Finn Eatherly. He was a Minister serving in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Bro. John was the current Pastor of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Columbia, TN and formerly served at the Chapel Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Williamson Co. and the New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Marshall Co.
Survived by 2 sons; Mark Eatherly of Chapel Hill, TN and Johnny Eatherly of Murfreesboro, TN; 3 sisters, Barbara Gregory of Nashville, TN, Linda Scales of the Holt’s Corner Community of Marshall Co., Janie Yates of Nolensville, TN; 3 grandchildren, Brittani Winningham, Marlana Spencer and Lauren Eatherly; 4 great-grandchildren, Alex Winningham, Owen Winningham, Emma Eatherly and Arlyn Spencer.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 12 Noon – 2PM at Lawrence Funeral Home to be followed by the Funeral Service at 2PM on Thursday. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
