Richard Sutton

Mr. Richard H. Sutton, age 94, of Nolensville, TN, died Saturday, December 11, 2021 at his residence. A native of Burlington, NJ, Mr. Sutton was a son of the late Nathan Howard Sutton and Jenny Haines Sutton VanHorn. He was a graduate of Irvington High School and Newark School of Engineering. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946 -1949 and spent most of his life in Toms River, NJ where he raised his family. As a member of the Toms River Church of Christ he taught Bible class and served in the work of the congregation. Mr. Sutton retired from his job as an electrical engineer in 1996 and moved to Nolensville, TN in 2018.

Survived by his wife, Helen Sutton of Nolensville, TN; a daughter, Barbara (Frank) Padovich of Nolensville, TN; a son, Peter (Diana) Sutton of Leonardo, NJ; a sister, Thomasine Groner of Union, NJ; a granddaughter, Joanna Sutton; a nephew, Thomas Sutton.
