Robert Cole

Mr. Robert C. Cole, age 91, of Lewisburg, TN, died  Monday, February 8, 2021 following an extended illness. Born in Nashville, TN, Mr. Cole was a son of the late Leon Cole and Margaret Young Cole. He was retired as an environmental engineer. Mr. Cole was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Lewisburg, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Cole, Jr.  ; a sister, Margaret Cole Palmer, and a niece, Sherrie Cole.

Survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary M. Cole of Lewisburg, TN; 2 daughters, Joy Marie Cole (Rick) Kilpatrick and Lauren Marie Cole (Keith) Ledbetter both of Lewisburg,TN; a son, Michael R. (Kim) Cole of Minneapolis, MN; 8 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren;  2 nieces, Sister Mary Lauren of Nashville, TN and Patricia Venturo of Longmont, Co; 2 nephews, Richard Palmer and Buddy Palmer.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 12PM – 2PM.  The funeral service will be conducted at 2:30PM on Wednesday from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery in the Caney Spring Community of Marshall Co.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis , TN 38105-9959 or to the charity of your choice.
