Robert Douglass

Mr. Robert L. Douglass, age 80, of Eagleville, TN, died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in Murfreesboro, TN.  Mr. Douglass was born in Montezuma, Iowa and was a son of the late Dale Andrew and Opal Beatty Douglass.  He was retired from insurance services and was a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Douglass served in the United States Air Force.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Corinne Douglass, his brother, Eugene "Gene" Douglass, and his sister, Phyllis Hopkins.

Mr. Douglass is survived by his daughters, Carol Douglass Guinn of Manchester, TN and Sharon E. Douglass of Manchester, TN; brother, William Douglass of Montezuma, Iowa; sister-in-law, Lois Douglass of Montezuma, Iowa; and 3 grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be from 4 PM until 8 PM on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Joe Jack officiating.  Interment will follow in Cothran Cemetery near Unionville, TN.
