Robert Glenn

Mr. Robert Roger Glenn, age 78, of Nashville, Tennessee, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at his home in Nashville. Mr. Glenn was born in Davidson County, and for many years, lived in Williamson County as well. He was a son of the late Thomas Alexander and Pauline Hartley Glenn. In addition to his parents, Mr. Glenn was also preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Lou Newcomb Glenn, who died in 2018; two brothers; a sister; and a great granddaughter.

He was retired after 42 years of service from Avco/Textron of Nashville where he worked as an airplane painter. He enjoyed hunting, singing, dancing, and taking vacations in his family van.

Mr. Glenn is survived by daughters, Vicki Glenn Uhles, Smyrna, TN, Rhonda Glenn, Smyrna, TN, Ashley Glenn (David) Cherry, Rockvale, TN; sister, Mary Ann Kincade, Chapel Hill, TN; grandchildren, Dana, Tiffany, Jennifer, Erica, Alison, Jim, Zeb, Hannah; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Family members will receive friends on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Ryan Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Hartley Cemetery in the Cross Keys Comm. of Williamson County.

David Cherry, Jim Edwards, Justin Johnson, Kenston Blacksher, Zeb Turnage, and Emit Holt will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy Lee and Wayne Green.
