Earl Haynes

Mr. Earl Haynes, age 80, of the Caney Spring Community in Marshall County, TN, died on Monday, December 9, 2024 at his residence. Earl was born in Marshall County, TN and was a son of the late Richard Fred Haynes and Mary Louise Ball Haynes. He was retired from AVCO-Textron in Nashville, TN where he worked in production. Earl proudly served our country in the United States Army and was a member of the Church of Christ. He attended Forrest School in Chapel Hill, TN.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Haynes.

Earl loved the outdoors. He was a hunter, having held a record with TWRA for a massive buck deer and he enjoyed fishing. He had a great passion for golfing and spending time with family and friends metal detecting. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them and supporting their activities.

Mr. Earl is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carole Ragsdale Haynes of the Caney Spring Community; daughter, Angie Haynes of the Caney Spring Community; granddaughter, Kayla Jo Love (Matt) Cummings of Lewisburg, TN; 4 great grandchildren, Lane Lynch, Layla Cummings, Logan Cummings, Jason Cummings; sisters, Ruth Boston of CA, Lois Uselton of Lewisburg, TN, Donna Holder of the Caney Spring Community; brothers, Glenn Haynes of the Laws Hill Community, Wayne Haynes of the Laws Hill Community; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 12 Noon until 2 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Jamie Pratt officiating. Interment will be in Elliott Cemetery at a later time.
