Mr. Robert Neely Hopkins, age 51, of the Laws Hill Community of Marshall County, died Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Hopkins was born in Lewisburg, Tennessee and was a truck driver and lifelong farmer. Robert was a graduate of Forrest High School Class of 1986 and was a member of Church Street Church of Christ in Lewisburg.

Mr. Hopkins is survived by his children, Thomas Neely Hopkins, Laws Hill Comm., Shelby Leigh Hopkins and Ashley June Hopkins, both of Spring Hill, Tennessee; father and mother, Tex and Mary Neely Whiteside Hopkins, Laws Hill Comm.; brothers, Richard Hopkins and James Hopkins, both of the Laws Hill Comm.; three grandchildren. Family members wish to give a special thanks to caregivers, Mary Catharyn, Amber, Nancy and Deanna for their kind and compassionate care during Robert’s illness.

Family members will receive friends on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 11:00 am until 3:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Celebration of Robert’s life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Justin Morton and Kyle Bolton officiating. At the conclusion of the services, all friends and family are invited to join together at the Hopkins home place on Powell Lane for a cook-out and time of remembrance and celebration of Robert’s life.
