Robert M. Reed, Sr.

Mr. Robert M. Reed, Sr., age 87, of the Laws Hill Community in Marshall County, TN, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, in Lewisburg, TN.  He was born in Williamson County, TN, and was a son of the late Jerome McKinley Reed and Mary Elizabeth Crafton Reed.  Mr. Reed was retired from the Williamson County Highway Department.  He proudly served our country in the United States Army.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Susan Seabury, three sisters, Agnes Marlin, Jenny Reed, Annie Elizabeth Polk, and a brother, James Augusta Reed.

Mr. Robert enjoyed deer hunting and skeet shooting.  He had a passion for antique cars and watching old western movies.   He collected knives and reading history.   Most of all, he loved his family and being with them. 

Mr. Reed is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mrs. Doris Reed of Laws Hill Community; sons, Robert M. Reed, Jr. of Eagleville, TN Timothy A. (Robbie) Reed of Lewisburg, TN; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, March 18, 2024 from 10 AM until 11 AM at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.  The graveside service will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Swanson Cemetery with Jamie Pratt officiating.  Interment will follow.
