Robert "Scooty" Allen White, Jr., born on January 25, 1953, in Williamson County, Tennessee, left this world on April 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Scooty was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, whose warmth and spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Married to his loving wife, Debbie Ogilvie White, for an incredible 52 years, Scooty was a partner in every sense of the word. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. As a proud father, he was known for his unwavering support of his son, Justin "Rooster" (Jenny) White and his daughter, Ashley (Nick) Bruce. His grandchildren, Carson and Cahl White, and Chace Bruce, brought joy and pride to his life, and he delighted in every moment spent with them.

Throughout his career, Scooty made his mark as the owner-operator of Maaco Auto Painting and Bodyworks, but he also worked at the Feed Mill, Nissan, and Nashville Tent. His hard work and dedication were a testament to his character and values. Avid fishing trips created lasting memories for Scooty, who found peace and happiness by the water, often dreaming of sunny vacations in Florida. He didn't just serve as a parent; he also devoted his time to coaching baseball and basketball, inspiring the next generation through his passion for the game. Scooty’s enthusiasm for life extended into every endeavor, leaving a legacy of joy and encouragement.

His early life was formed by the love of his parents, Robert Allen Sr. and Jimmie Marlin White, both of whom have passed away. Their guidance and support undoubtedly played a critical role in shaping the man he became. Scooty is also survived by his sister, Pam (Randy) Hickman. The bonds formed among family members were a source of strength for Scooty, who always treasured the time spent together.

As we gather to honor the life of Scooty, we carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family. He will be greatly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Fellowship, PO Box 680524, Franklin, TN 37068
