Roger Boyce

Mr. Roger Marion “Perkins” Boyce, age 51, of Unionville, TN, died Sat., Dec. 20, 2014. A native of Bedford Co., Mr. Boyce was a son of Johnny Boyce and Janice Wheeler Harvey. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Shelbyville and was a livestock farmer. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Carl Harvey.

Survived by a son, Jonathan Blake Boyce of the Wheel community; his Mother, Janice Wheeler Harvey of Unionville; his Father and Step-mother, Johnny Boyce and Lynn Boyce; a sister, Becky Boyce (Bobby) Hughes of Murfreesboro; a brother, James Randall (Dawn) Boyce of Shelbyville; 4 nieces and nephews, Josh Sanders, Lara (Justin) Smotherman, Keri Beth (Tory) Moore and Colt Boyce; 1 great niece and 1 great nephew.

Visitation will be Mon., Dec. 22, 2014 from 4PM – 8PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10AM, Tues., Dec. 23, 2014 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Henry officiating. Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery in the Rover community of Bedford Co.
