Ron Todd

Mr. Ron Todd, age 76, of Chapel Hill, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in Clarksville, TN. He was born in Kansas City, KS, and was a son of the late George Todd and Helen Rice Todd.  Ron was a member of Triune Baptist Church and was retired as a gaming mechanic/technician.   He served our country in the United States Army in the 101^st Airborne Division.  Ron was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, the Disabled American Veterans, and a motorcycle club.  In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death in death by his father-in-law, Larry Edward Haggard and sister-in-law, Karyn Jo Haggard.

Mr. Ron loved his horse, Tacoma.  He enjoyed life and anything fun, exciting, and unchartered.  He had a passion for riding motorcycles and action movies.  Above all, he loved his family and enjoyed being with them! 

Mr. Todd is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Becky Haggard Todd of Chapel Hill, TN; step son, Chris Haggard of Thompson Station, TN; mother-in-law, Connie Haggard of Chapel Hill, TN; sister-in-law, Laura Haggard of Chapel Hill, TN; his 2/506 Band of Brothers Currahee: Al (Karen) Swart, Wes Burr, Bill (Shari) Wilson, Robert McDade, Don (Sharon) Hurkey, Skip (Lisa) Broome, Doc Terry, Ron (Debbie) Scroggins.  Fallen Currahee: CD Rickman and Joe Yette. 

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 10 AM until 12:30 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The Graveside service will be conducted at 1 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Swanson Cemetery with Bro. Jamie Pratt officiating.  Interment will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN after the service.

Active pallbearers will be Tony Loveless, Chris Haggard, Al Swart, Wes Burr, Robert McDade, and Abraham Morales.
