Ronnie "R.T." Tomlin

Mr. Ronnie “R.T.” Tomlin, age 66, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Sunday, May 2, 2021 in Nashville, TN. Born in Nashville, TN, Mr. Tomlin was a son of the late J.W. and Elizabeth Green Tomlin. R.T. was a mechanic and had a great passion for hot rods. He loved family time, doing things his own way, his dogs, and old western movies; especially ones that featured John Wayne.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, SPC Jeremy Darrell Tomlin; a brother, Harry Tomlin; grandparents, “Pap” and “Mother” Green.

Mr. Tomlin is survived by his wife of 47 years, Teresa Tomlin of Chapel Hill, TN; daughter, Jenny (Tim Hill) Tomlin of Unionville, TN; son, Jamie (Amanda Skeeters) Tomlin of Chapel Hill, TN; sister, Patricia (Jerry) Johnson of Franklin, TN; brother, Ricky (Sandra) Tomlin of Murfreesboro, TN; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 7, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community in Bedford County, TN.
