Mrs. Rosie Kathryn Tomlin Bogle, age 92, of the Arno Community, died on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Rosie was born in the Harpeth Community in Williamson County, TN and was the daughter of the late Charles Jimerson Tomlin and Susie Mai Jackson Tomlin. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Rosie was a graduate of Bethesda High School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Paul Thomas Bogle in 2019, a daughter, Kathryn Bogle Whidby, and son-in-law, Randy Whidby.
Mrs. Rosie loved landscaping, tending to her yard, and her flowers. She enjoyed watching birds. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them!
Mrs. Bogle is survived by her daughters, Diane (Curtis) Hartley of the Bethesda Community, Paulette (Jim) Maxwell of the Bethesda Community; grandchildren, Chad (Angie) Hartley, Curt Hartley, Chris (Christie) Whidby, Joe (Amy) Whidby, Kyle Maxwell, Amanda (Adam) Bogle, Sam (Bethany) Maxwell; great grandchildren, Addison, Willa, Colton Hartley, Madison & Sadie Bogle, Natalie & Kathy Maxwell, Jordan, Issie, & Avery Whidby; brother, Paul “Pete” Tomlin of the Triune Community; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 4 PM until 7 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, TN. The family will have visitation 1 hour prior to the graveside service which will be conducted at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Williamson Memorial Gardens in Franklin, TN with Chris Whidby officiating. Interment will follow after the service.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Aveanna Hospice and to Christy Skinner and Mrs. Betty Cason for all their help!
Memorial donations may be made to the Mid Cumberland Meals on Wheels Program.
