Mrs. Ruby G. Johnsey, age 79, of Unionville, TN, died Friday, June 21, 2024. Born in Rutherford Co., Mrs. Johnsey was a daughter of the late Arlo and Ruth Dennis. She was married for 54 years to Dorris Wayne Johnsey who died in 2019. Mrs. Ruby worked for many years as a supervisor in the pencil industry. She enjoyed going for rides and tending to her goats and cattle. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Wayne Johnsey; a sister, Ruth Messick and a brother, Jerry Dennis

Survived by a sister, Sybil Crowell; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Martha Dennis and Rufus “Slick” and Mary Ann Dennis; several Nieces and Nephews.

A special Thanks to Jeff and June Crowell and Jacob, Carissa and Braylee Adcock.

Visitation with the family will be from 12pm -2pm, Tuesday , June 25, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Carlton Cemetery in the Clay Hill community of Marshall Co. Pallbearers will be Jacob Adcock, Jeff Crowell, Mike Adcock, Chris Jaco and Bradley Adcock.
