Russie Burrow Edwards Garrett

Mrs. Russie Burrow Edwards Garrett, age 103, of Lewisburg, TN, died Friday, September 4, 2020. Born in Marshall Co., Mrs. Garrett was a daughter of the late Jessie Paul Burrow and Margret Ann Elizabeth Cook Burrow. She was the widow of Thomas Farrar Garrett. Mrs. Garrett was retired from Genesco following 35 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are her son, W.C. Edwards of Lewisburg, TN; 3 grandchildren, Sandra (Steve) Thompson, Lori (Jose) Sanchez and India Edwards; 4 great-grandchildren, Vivian Hicks, Christopher Thompson, Emma Espinoza and Alex Espinoza.

Visitation will be from 4PM – 6PM on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM, Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will be at Middleview Cemetery in Marshall Co.

In addition to her parents and her late husband, Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Julius “Dood” Edwards and 10 siblings, Susan Tennessee Clem, Raymond Delene Burrow, Marvin Gopell Burrow, Jennie Gertrude Fowler, twins, Willie Wall Burrow and Jessie Paul Burrow, Burt Burs Burrow, Margaret Ethel Mabry, Lennie Lee Giles and Ana Blanch Jockel.
