Sam Lynch

Mr. Sam B. Lynch, age 88, of Shelbyville, TN, died Sunday, March 29, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Lynch was born in Bedford County, TN, to his late parents Jim B. Lynch and Lou Bertha Lynch. He was a salesman for most of his life, selling farm equipment and automobiles. Mr. Lynch loved playing cards, farming and gardening, watching NASCAR and always knew when the next baseball game was on. He also loved his family dearly and loved spending time with them, including all of his family’s pets. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Jessie Lynch; children, Andy, Betty, Martha, and Sylvia; sisters, Frances and Jimmy Lou; brothers, Albert, Roselle, Henry Lee, and Joe Frank.

Mr. Lynch is survived by nieces and nephews, including Johnny, Carolyn, and Thomas; several cousins; 7 grandchildren, Sammy, Melissa, Chanda, Deborah Ann (caregiver), Buddy, Samantha, and Savannah; 12 great grandchildren ; several great great grandchildren.

In light of the Corona Virus health crisis, there will be no visitation and a private family graveside service will be held with burial to follow in Wheeler Cemetery near Chapel Hill. Please know that online tributes thru the funeral home website are equally appreciated.
