Sam Sullivan

Mr. Sam Sullivan, age 78, of Smyrna, Tennessee, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness.  Mr. Sullivan was born in Rutherford County and was the son of the late Houston Martin and Mary Kathleen Waggoner Sullivan.  He was retired from the City of Smyrna Division of Streets with 18 years of service and was a member of Stewarts Creek Church of Christ.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Wiley Sullivan, who died in August 2010.

Mr. Sullivan is survived by daughter, Lois Faye Boles, Smyrna, TN; step-daughter, Geraldine Fields, Charlotte, TN; four grandchildren, Samantha Boles, Cody Boles, Becky Cunningham, Christopher Cunningham; three great grandchildren, Courtney Vaughn, Kyle Cunningham, Cory Cunningham.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 2:00 until 7:00 pm at Woodfin Funeral Chapel-Smyrna, TN.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, March 4, 2013 from the Chapel of Woodfin Funeral Chapel-Smyrna, TN with Bro. Charlie Dodd officiating.  Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery in Smyrna, TN.
