Sara Jennings

Mrs. Sara Katherine Ragsdale Jennings, age 84, of Rockvale, Tennessee, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Mrs. Jennings was born in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Albert Kemmons and Myrtle Clarice Smotherman Ragsdale. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Stacey Jennings; brother, Albert Franklin Ragsdale and sister, Polly Ann Ragsdale.
Mrs. Jennings is survived by four cousins, Alta Smotherman, Barbara Smotherman, Robert Smotherman and Donnie Smotherman, all of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 12:00 noon from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with burial to follow in Whitworth Cemetery near Rockvale, TN.
