Shane Bowden

Mr. Shane Bowden, age 18, of Unionville, Tennessee, died Sunday, August 13, 2017. He was born in Davidson County and loved his family and friends very much. Shane was a senior at Community High School in Unionville where he was a straight A student and was a star cornerback for the Unionville Viking Football Team. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a hard worker, and had a great love for animals. Shane was a member of Amazing Grace Church in Unionville.

Shane is survived by his father, Joshua Bowden, Unionville, TN; mother, Christie Casey, Eagleville, TN; brothers, Nalen Lee Bowden and Noah Barrett Bowden, both of Unionville, TN; sister, Willow Love Bowden, Unionville, TN; grandparents, Barry and Dawn Bowden, Lewisburg, TN, Tonya and Frank Brannon, Unionville, TN; special aunts and uncles, Amanda and Joshua Hedge, Toby Bowden, Chris and Brandy K Casey; several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Hedge officiating. Burial will follow in Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.
