Stephen Bruce Swain

Mr. Stephen “Steve” Bruce Swain, age 76, of Shelbyville, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in Pulaski, TN. Steve was born in Chapel Hill, TN and was a son of the late Jimmy Lee Swaim and Marion Day (Scott) Williams. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Swain served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Steve was retired as a machinist.

Mr. Steve was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar. Steve found joy in fast cars, spending time with his family, and enjoyed watching television shows such as the Andy Griffith Show and Gunsmoke. 

 Mr. Swain is survived by his children, Zachary Swain, Jena Swain, and Kyle Swain, all of Shelbyville, TN; 2 grandchildren, Evanly Swain and Presley Swain; brother Ben Williams, II, of Shelbyville,TN.

 Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
