Suzanne Simpson

Mrs. Suzanne Simpson, age 59, of Rockvale, Tennessee, died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at her home in Rockvale. Mrs. Simpson was born in Bedford County and was a daughter of the late Ralph Elem and Ann Elizabeth Little Marshall. She was a graduate of Eagleville High School class of 1975 and was a homemaker and gifted cabinet maker. Mrs. Simpson was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph “Bubba” Marshall.

Mrs. Simpson is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ricky Simpson, Rockvale, TN; children, Ricky (Brooke) Simpson, II, Mt. Vernon, IN, Barbara Denise Heath (Sarah Dune), Manchester, TN, Stefan Ryan (Jessica) Simpson, Rockvale, TN, Winter Shada Simpson, Rockvale, TN; sister, Brenda Ellis, Bell Buckle, TN; twelve grandchildren.

Family members will receive friends on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Jim Lawyer officiating. Burial will follow in Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.

Ricky Simpson, Stefan Simpson, Ricky Simpson, III, Tim Ellis, Kris Ellis and Austin Ellis will serve as pallbearers.

In Lieu of Flowers, family members have requested donations be made toward funeral expenses.
