Thomas Bolden

Mr. Thomas “Buddy” Bolden, age 79, of Franklin, TN, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at his residence. He was a native of Rutherford County, TN and a son of the late John Henry and Mattie Sanders Bolden.  Mr. Bolden was a member of the Arrington Baptist Church and was retired from Neely-Coble Truck Company and Metro Nashville School System and he had a great passion for the game of golf.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Bucy and Betty Bolden and his brothers, J. W., Jessie, Don, and Fred Bolden.

He is survived by his wife, Maggie L. Moore Bolden of Franklin, TN, his daughter, Cheryl Gray of Franklin, TN; sisters, Frances Justice of College Grove, TN and Dorothy Griffy of Chapel Hill, TN; brothers, Ed Bolden of Murfreesboro, TN and Earl Bolden of Murfreesboro, TN; 3 grandchildren, Jerome Owenby, Daniel Adams, and Keisha Adams Robbins, and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 2 PM until 5 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM, Monday, May 25, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Brother Larry Chatman officiating.  Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
