Thomas Chaffin, Jr.

Mr. Thomas Chaffin, Jr., age 73, of Eagleville, TN, died Friday, October 4, 2019. Born in Putnam Co., TN, Mr. Chaffin was a son of the late Thomas Chaffin,Sr. and Minnie Alice Hargis Chaffin. He was a self-employed carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

Survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Frances Underwood Chaffin of Eagleville, TN; 2 daughters, Mary Frances Collins and Wanda Pearl Sears, both of Rockvale, TN; a son, Thomas Leon Chaffin of Eagleville,TN; a brother, Ernest Leo Chaffin of Beech Grove, TN; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 12 Noon until 2pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm on Sunday with Pastor Rick Sears officiating. Burial will follow at the Rocky Glade Cemetery in Rutherford Co.
