Thomas "Tommy" Smotherman

Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Ray Smotherman, age 53, of Rockvale, Tennessee, died Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Smotherman was born in Rutherford County, Tennessee and was a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Anne Smotherman Clanton.

Mr. Smotherman is survived by his children, Leah Smotherman, Ashlie Honea and Haley Smotherman, all of Shelbyville, TN; grandchildren, Kamber Honea and Karter Honea.

Family members will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with burial in Whitworth Cemetery in Rutherford County.
