Timmy Blackburn

Mr. Timmy Blackburn, age 60, of College Grove, TN, died on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Nashville, TN and a son of the late Gale Douglas Blackburn and Patricia Ann Murff Blackburn. Timmy was a heavy equipment operator having owned and operated his own business.

Timmy loved excavation work and working with his heavy equipment. He was excellent at carpentry. He had a passion for fast cars and diesel trucks. He enjoyed raising farm animals and spending time with Rudy, his potbellied pig. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed life with them, especially his pride and joy, Brooke.

Mr. Blackburn is survived by his daughter, Brooke Blackburn of Rickman, TN; sister, Melissa (David) Young of Lewisburg, TN; nephew, Colton Young and niece, Melia Young.

Visitation with the family will be from 12 Noon until 1 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home with family officiating. Interment will follow at Triune Cemetery in Williamson County, TN.
