Tommy Newcomb

Mr. Tommy Newcomb, age 60, of the Farmington Community of Marshall County, died Tuesday morning, March 5, 2013 in Lewisburg, TN.  Mr. Newcomb was born in Marshall County and was employed with Heavy Metals of Lewisburg, formerly Design Conveyor Systems of Lewisburg.  He was a member of Farmington Baptist Church and loved playing baseball when younger, and later, coaching in the Marshall County Little League Association.  He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Newcomb who died in 2009.

Mr. Newcomb is survived by his wife, Marilyn Newcomb, Farmington, Comm.; mother, Nadine Newcomb, Farmington Comm.; children, Danette Cook Newcomb, North Carolina, John Paul Newcomb, Farmington Comm., Jeff Matthews, Pulaski, TN; grandchildren, Hayden Cook, Kaylee Newcomb, Jacob Newcomb; step-children, Sean (Tracy) Blaisdell, Portland, TN, Jay (Heidi) Blaisdell, Nashville, TN; step-grandchildren, Trevor and Nicholas Blaisdell.

Family members will receive friends on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Jones officiating.
