Virginia "Jenny" Crutcher

Ms. Virginia “Jenny” Crutcher, age 81, of Columbia, TN passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 in Columbia. She was a native of Williamson County, TN and the daughter of the late Matthew “Matt” Crutcher and Jessie Mai Smithson Crutcher. She was a retired from Lasko Products with over 40 years of service. Ms. Jenny was a member of Colonial Meadows For Christ Church and previously a member of the Ash Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Harmon, Mildred McCandless, and her brothers, Raymond Crutcher, Jerry Crutcher, William Crutcher, and James Crutcher; nephews, Bobby Crutcher, and Billy Crutcher, niece, Brenda Crutcher Kelly.

Ms. Jenny enjoyed baking and cooking. She had a passion for working crossword puzzles and playing BINGO. She enjoyed creating her journal entries and taking photos so she could share her memories. Most of all, she loved talking with her family and friends and sharing time with them! 

Ms. Crutcher is survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Crutcher (Loyd) Anderson of Spring Hill, TN; great niece, Faith Harmon (Core, y Redden) of Columbia, TN; special cousins, Helen & Doris Logue of Franklin, TN; nephews, Tony Smithson of Lewisburg, TN, Troy (Jennifer) Crutcher of Spring Hill TN, Ronnie (Linda) Crutcher of Spring Hill, TN, Rick Harmon (Jeanie Jackson) of Columbia, TN, Kevin Harmon of Columbia, TN, William Jerry Crutcher of White Bluff, TN, Johnny Crutcher of Kingston Springs, TN, Timmy Crutcher of Franklin, TN, Larry (Sandra) Crutcher of Spring Hill, TN; nieces, Teresa (Phillip) Hasley of Kingston Springs, TN, Carol Crutcher of Spring Hill, TN, Ann (Morris) Shirley of Lewisburg, TN, Ann (Andy) Murray of Dickson, TN.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Monday, October 21, 2024 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Ronnie Parish officiating. Interment will follow at the Crutcher Cemetery in Williamson County, TN. 

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
