Mr. William Venton Wallace, age 93, died on June 14, 2024 in White House, TN. Mr. Wallace was born in Harris Station, Limestone County, Alabama, and was the son of Hattie Lou Hooie and Euell Venton Wallace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Eastep Wallace; sister Ola Dean Clark and brothers Harlon Wallace and Talmadge Wallace; and grandchildren Andrew Hodges and Laura Sanders.
Mr. Wallace is survived by three daughters, Brenda Gardner, Jo Ann Hodges and Sandy Fletcher; five grandchildren, Brandon (Leslee) Kiser, Hubbell King, Ryan (Shannon) Fletcher, Shelly (Kevin) Breedlove and Josh (Meagan Smith) Fletcher; and seven great grandchildren, Chase and Cheyenne King and Callie Purvis; R.J., Luke and J.J. Fletcher; and Jaden Hodges.
Mr. Wallace was a lifelong member of the church of Christ and a proud graduate of the University of Alabama.
Visitation will be from Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 10 AM until 11 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11 AM at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, TN. Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
The family is forever grateful to the entire staff at White House Healthcare and Rehab Center for the deep devotion, love and attention they provided. Equal gratitude is extended to Gentiva for their caring hospice services during his final days.
