Mrs. Willie Arline Windrow Sudberry, age 70, of the Rover Community of Bedford County, died Wednesday morning, December 14, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Sudberry was born in Bedford County and was the daughter of the late Willie Gray and Beulah Fern Rowland Windrow. She was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, receiving her Master’s degree in Education. Mrs. Sudberry was an educator in the Bedford County School System for over 32 years, having taught at both Unionville and Shelbyville schools. She was a member of the National Educators Association and Bedford County Education Association. After retirement from teaching, Arline worked as a Read-Lead Supervisor for Measurements, Inc. She was an active member of the Kingdom Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Sudberry is survived by her husband, Henry Sudberry, Rover Community; daughter, Angie Hutchings, Mt. Juliet, TN; step-children, Lori Diane Clanton, Shelbyville, TN, LaDonna Kay Cassady, Shelbyville, TN, Christopher Elvin Sudberry, Murfreesboro, TN, Michael Hal Sudberry, LaVergne, TN; granddaughter, Abby Hutchings, Mt. Juliet, TN; five step-grandchildren; two step great grandchildren.
Family members will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Guin officiating. Burial will follow in King Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.
