Wilma Taylor Gattis

Mrs. Wilma Taylor Gattis, age 82, of Lewisburg, TN died Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Born in Nashville, TN, Mrs. Gattis was a daughter of the late James Hershel Taylor and Violet Kail Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Keith Gattis; a sister, Nelda Langham; brothers in-laws, Johnny and Rusty Gattis.

Wilma was retired from CosmoLab, formerly in Lewisburg. She enjoyed her family and friends, working in flowers and loved her dogs.

Survived by her daughter,Cathy Gattis(Robert O'Malley) Recker; a son, Hershel (Woon Jae) Gattis; brothers, Troy Taylor and Randy Taylor; a sister, Joyce Smith; 4 grandchildren, Gena (Chad Cooper) Gattis, Jake Staggs, Brianna (James) Crick, Ashley Gattis; 5 great-grandchildren, Cruz Cooper, Hartley Cooper, Lyric Crick, Lily Dominguez, Jacob Greenway; sisters in-laws, Neva (Cliff) Thorpe, Judy (Ron) Martin, Rita Moore, Carolyn Osborne; several nieces and nephews; her special friend, Susan Pugh.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1PM Monday, March 10, 2025 at Wheel Cemetery in Bedford County.
