Mrs. Wilma Jane Vincion Myrick, age 82, of Longview Community in Bedford County, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Williamson County, TN and was a daughter of the Robert Gordon Vincion and Annie Ruth Hendrix Vincion. She was a member of Green Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Wilma was retired from Empire Pencil Company and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Clarence Myrick, sons, William and Walter Myrick, daughter, Theresa Womack, sisters, Lillie Penn, Esther Hall, Margaret Sue Vincion, and a brother, Robert Vincion.
Mrs. Wilma loved to sing and cook for her family and friends. She was a simple person and humble and devoted to serving God! Most of all, she loved all of her family!
Mrs. Myrick is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Adam) Miller of the Longview Community; 3 grandchildren, Jamie Dyer, Tiffany Dyer, Destry Miller; 12 great grandchildren, Chris, Shane, Rachall, Jamie, Jr., Eric, Samorah, Landon, Addison, Serenity, Kain, Hayvynn, Emily, 1 great great grandchild, Skyler; 3 sisters, Linda (Coop) Lynch of Unionville, TN, Alene (Jim) Deal of Shelbyville, TN, Rebecca (Tim) Collins of Shelbyville, TN; honorary family, Amanda & Greg Gentry of Shelbyville, TN; many nieces and nephews; and her Church family.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 9 AM – 10 AM at Cothran Cemetery. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Cothran Cemetery. Interment will follow at the Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community in Bedford County, TN.
