James Erwin

Mr. James Rickey Erwin, age 72, of Lewisburg, TN, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022. Born in Columbia, TN, Mr. Erwin was the son of the late James Cecil Erwin and Christine Nichols Erwin.  He was a retired  Quality  Control Manager. Mr. Erwin served in the United State Navy during the Vietnam era. He was of the Baptist faith and in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cecilia Drake.

Survived by his wife of 49 years, Marsha Erwin of Lewisburg, TN; 2 daughters, Rachel (Chris) Thomas of Shelbyville, TN, Emily (Curtis) Mendl of Petersburg, TN; 2 sisters, Donna Glasgow of Columbia, TN, Christy Long of Clarksville, TN; 4 grandchildren, Devon Klages, Dustin Thomas, Scarlett Mendl and Cassidy Thomas; 1 great-grandchild, Hartlea Klages.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 , from 4pm – 7pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at 1pm from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.

Burial with Military Honors will follow at Manire Cemetery in Rutherford C0.
